1. Service overview
Bellkoko (the "Service") is an NFC/QR doorbell notification service. Digital QR codes, short URLs, push notifications, and related features are currently provided free of charge to all users. The Service is a supplementary tool for individuals and businesses. It is not a substitute for physical intercoms, security systems, or emergency communication.
2. Acceptance
By accessing, registering for, or using the Service, you agree to these Terms. If you do not agree, do not use the Service. If you are a minor, you may use the Service only with consent from a parent or legal guardian.
3. Free service and your responsibility
The Service is provided "as is" and "as available." Bellkoko does not warrant that the Service will meet your requirements, operate without interruption or error, or remain continuously available. You use the Service entirely at your own risk and discretion. Bellkoko does not guarantee any outcome for visitor handling, security, safety checks, or any other purpose.
4. Disclaimer of warranties
Notifications may fail to arrive, be delayed, be delivered incorrectly, or data may be lost due to network issues, device settings, browser restrictions, disabled push notifications, OS or app updates, or failures of third-party services (hosting, DNS, push delivery, etc.). For life, health, property, emergency contact, or legal compliance, always use additional reliable means. Bellkoko disclaims all warranties, express or implied, including merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement.
5. Limitation of liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Bellkoko and its operators shall not be liable for any direct, indirect, incidental, consequential, special, or punitive damages arising from or related to your use of or inability to use the Service, including but not limited to data loss, lost profits, business interruption, lost opportunities, or emotional distress. Except where caused by Bellkoko's willful misconduct or gross negligence, Bellkoko's total liability to you shall not exceed the amount you paid Bellkoko in the twelve (12) months before the event giving rise to the claim (zero if the Service was free).
6. Prohibited conduct
You may not: (1) violate laws or public order, (2) harass others, register falsely, or impersonate others, (3) gain unauthorized access, overload systems, reverse engineer, or otherwise interfere with the Service, (4) infringe third-party rights (privacy, publicity, intellectual property, etc.), or (5) distribute spam or malware, or engage in other conduct Bellkoko deems inappropriate. Bellkoko may suspend accounts, delete data, or restrict access without prior notice if violations are found.
7. Changes and termination
Bellkoko may change, suspend, or discontinue all or part of the Service at any time without prior notice. Maintenance, outages, legal compliance, or business decisions may cause data loss or notification failures. Bellkoko is not liable for damages arising from such changes. These Terms may be updated at Bellkoko's discretion. Continued use after an update constitutes acceptance of the revised Terms.
8. Governing law and jurisdiction
These Terms are governed by the laws of Japan. Any dispute relating to the Service or these Terms shall be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the Tokyo District Court as the court of first instance. Contact: support@bellkoko.com
